wo 750 kVA diesel generators fitted with Baudouin engines and Mecc Alte alternators have been supplied by Eurogen Power.   The engines are Baudouin 12M33G1650/5 - this is a high-power, open three-phase generator, operating in automatic mode, manual mode, signal mode, or test mode. The diesel generator sets produced by  the  company are in the range of 10 kVA-3500 kVA and can form an effective solution partner for every conditions and project. The Eurogen generator sets produced in European standards are environmentally-friendly with 65 dB sound level and offer low emissions and low fuel requirements. The three-phase alternators used in the hospital gensets are the Mecc Alte ECO46 1S4 A type - the smallest alternator from Mecc Alte's ECO46 range, in fact. This is a powerful and reliable alternator which can produce a near-constant supply of power at any of its operating conditions. As standard, the alternator comes with an auxiliary wound excitation system.

    Eurogen Power is perhaps best known for the development of  its Eurogen River Platform,  a  new development designed and manufactured as a ‘stand alone’ modular power station, commercialising the potential energy contained in free flowing river currents. The dimensions and performance characteristics have been optimised, each producing up to 100 kWe of constant power. The Eurogen River Platform is cost effective to install. The unit can be readily moored in a fixed position in the constant river current and is able to be tethered with “off the shelf” dynamic anchoring systems commonly used in oil and gas field development. The only minor engineering works required for the Eurogen River Platform is locating anchoring points on the riverbank. This significantly minimises installation costs, increases the number of suitable deployment locations and dismisses the need for lengthy and expensive planning and approval processes. The unit is also completely modular and portable, which allows multiple or singular units to be deployed in the one location and facilitates easy transfer to different locations if required.
