ogether with SYNERGY CONSTRUCT, MEPA ENERGY SYSTEMS has been awarded the TITAN POWER – High-Efficiency Cogeneration Plant (CET Titan) project in Bucharest, Romania, a project which reflects a key step forward in advancing sustainable and efficient urban energy infrastructure in Romania and which is based around a Hyundai 20H35GV genset.

The natural-gas-fired Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Plant will be 50 MWe and it states on the former CET Titan site in Sector 3, Bucharest. The facility will generate approximately 369 GWh of electricity annually using five engine-generator sets, providing both electricity and heat with high efficiency.

The system will be connected to the national grid through a 63/80 MVA, 10/110 kV step-up transformer, and 1.2 km of 110 kV underground cabling linking the plant to the PPC Titan Substation — a hybrid switching system ensuring safe and flexible grid integration. This project represents another strong contribution by MEPA Group to Europe’s sustainable energy transition.

 A spokesman comments:

"We plan to continue our collaboration with Synergy on this project and beyond. We are committed to delivering innovative, high-quality engineering solutions — combining our expertise, energy, and collaborative spirit to make this project a success."
