REEN POWER INTERNATIONAL (PRIVATE) LTD. Of Noida, India, has supplied 2.3 MW. 11KV (5xTCG 3020 V20) gensets to captive power plant based at FAS Agro Industries in Sharada, Kano, Nigeria. FAS Agro Industries specialises in the production of woven polypropylene packaging. The company has grown to become a major provider of flexible woven polypropylene packaging in Nigeria, focusing on quality, customer satisfaction, and community welfare.
FAS Agro also produces agro sacks and related products, including laminated shopping bags and valve bags, catering to agricultural and industrial applications.
This latest power plant project features the installation of five MWM gas generator sets, each rated at 2.3 MW. 11KV (5xTCG 3020 V20) delivering a total of 11.5 MW of highly efficient, cleaner, and reliable power. This milestone strengthens our commitment to sustainable, on-site energy that supports continuous industrial operations.

The TCG 3020 V20 gas engine stands out for its high efficiency, long service intervals, and flexibility in operation. It is designed to operate with various fuels, including natural gas, biogas, and propane gas, with a hydrogen admixture of up to 25 vol%. The engine achieves an electrical efficiency of up to 45% in natural gas operation and 43.6% in biogas operation. Its compact design and low maintenance costs make it suitable for a wide range of applications, from industrial operations to public power and heat supply companies. The TCG 3020 V20's digital control system, TPEM (Total Plant & Energy Management), allows for real-time monitoring and system optimization, ensuring maximum plant performance and availability.
The TPEM (Total Plant & Energy Management) system is a fully-integrated digital control platform which combines all power plant data for the genset and plant control in one system. This system eliminates the need for additional control systems, providing high economic efficiency from a single source. The TPEM system enables precise monitoring and efficient control of the entire system, allowing operators to evaluate operating data in real time and systematically optimise plants. It is designed to ensure peak operational performance, enhanced availability, and streamlined plant management, making it a key feature of the MWM TCG 3020 gas engine series.
