Quark is involved in several data centre projects in Madrid, including the Madrid One facility, which is part of Thor Equities Group's investment in the region. This project is a state-of-the-art data center facility with a commitment of up to 20MW IT load, growing to over 100MW. It is designed to be one of the region's largest data center campuses with committed power, benefiting from diverse power feeds and access to multiple IP transit and dark fiber providers. The project is currently at an advanced stage of design and permitting, with plans to commence construction later this year. Quark, along with local partners, is working on this development to ensure best-in-class solutions aligned to customer requirements.
Quark Sener Group's connection with data centres in Madrid is primarily through Quark, which is an engineering and architectural firm specialising in data centre design.
