HOSPITAL IN TURKEY RELIES ON SFGLD240 NATURAL GAS GENSET FROM DRESSER-RAND

Guascor® genset has been supplied for a major cogeneration projects in Turkey. Provided by DRESSER-RAND a Siemens business based at Zumaia, Gipuzkoa, Spain, the independent energy supply now serves Van Medisina hospital in Turkey. After exploring possible solutions to provide the necessary energy, heating, and cooling, the private Medisina Van Hospital decided to install a Dresser-Rand Guascor® SFGLD240 natural gas genset providing 405 kWe of electricity and 546 kWt of thermal power. The installation allows the hospital to independently generate electricity without reliance on the local grid.
