The rigorous 24-hour testing was a key requirement for the customer to confirm the highest standards of performance, safety and reliability, providing uninterrupted backup power when it matters most. Each generator set, its components, and a wide range of options have all been fully developed, prototype-tested, factory-built, and production-tested, reports Rehlko. The generator sets have been designed in accordance with ISO8528-5, performance class G3. These generator sets accept the rated load in one step outside the ISO8528-5 operating limit values. They are also approved for use with HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) according to EN15940.
The set’s premium performance engine provides:

The set's alternators provide industry-leading motor starting capability. An excitation system permits sustained overcurrent exceeding 300% In, during 10 seconds. It has been built with Class H insulation and according to IP23.
Cooling is achieved using a compact and complete solution using a mechanically driven radiator fan. High temperature and altitude product capacity is available, running without power derating.
The Rehlko-wide controller range provides reliable oversight and operation, allowing technicians to program, manage and diagnose easily and efficiently. Gensets in this range offer reduced operating costs, fuel consumption, and greenhouse gas emissions with a Conscious CareTM maintenance program.
