he BAGHDAD AL-SALAM COMPANY has successfully delivered four 2250 KVA diesel generators (Open Type) powered by PERKINS engine & Leroy Somer alternators to The New Project Kirkuk General Hospital - a teaching hospital located near the Kirkuk International Airport which currently offers 400 patient beds and is operated by the Education/Ministry of Health of Iraq. The Group of Companies (Baghdad Al Salam) Trading and General Contracting, Engineering Services and Machine Maintenance was established to be a vital part of the national and international efforts for the development of Iraq.

The Baghdad Al Salam company has up to 80 personnel consisting of 20 engineers and 30 technicians, including mechanics and electricians and 30 managers and administration professionals.
Within Iraq the Baghdad Al Salam company has been awarded with recognition and honours and has been recognised by the Iraq Presidency Office of the Vice President, the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Municipalities and General Public Works and by the General Company for Mining Industries and the Ministry of Education (General Directorate of Vocational Education).
