ifty 250 kW Gensets established in parallel with ComAp InteliGen, with a total output of 12.5MW, have been supplied to the National Grid. The installation has been designed so that  when one genset is taken offline the other 49 gensets automatically increase output by 2% or 5kW each to maintain an export value of 12.5MW.

The Medium Range 225-938 kVA generator set models are widely available and the range spans both prime and standby models at both 50 and 60 Hz and are suitable for most applications. Each genset is driven either by an EU Stage IIIa Emissions compliant engine for emissions sensitive territories or a fuel optimised engine for less global markets where restrictions are more lenient. A key feature of this contract is the ComAp InteliGen system.

InteliGen NT BaseBox is a controller for single or multiple diesel gen-sets operating in stand-by or parallel mode. Intended primarily for switchgear applications, this controller will ensure secure remote monitoring of your critical infrastructure installations such as datacentres, hospitals or banks. InteliGen, our family of paralleling controllers, offer unmatched market value, reliability, and flexibility. As one of our most popular products, the InteliGen product family has become an industry standard for smart control of single or multiple gen-sets operating in standby or parallel mode. Ensuring stabile power on sites where the main grid infrastructure is unavailable can be challenging. ComAp has the right expertise and solutions to support efficient and reliable independent power production, reduce fuel usage, maximise your gen-sets' service life, and enable a simple and easy future site expansion with minimum costs, reports the company.
