lcos srl is among the main Italian companies which produce generators. It develops, produces, sells and installs systems for the generation of electric energy for a total of 700 MW per year. In a recent contract the company supplied two backup power generators in 30’ container to Orsha Airport, Belarus. The first unit is a GE.PK.450\400.BF+011,while the second one is a GE.PK.400\350.BF+011, both equipped with Perkins engines and Stamford alternators. Both generators are fuelled by a 3,000-litre external tank. The containerised units feature acoustic insulation which reduce noise at the level of @75dBA and have vertical gravity air inletlouvres. A QPE panel with 16-relay module has been installed at Orsha Airport to provide monitoring, with pre-arranged RS485 serial port for remote communication.
