ADVANCED ALTERNATORS USED IN GENSETS USED AT POTATO POINT & CAPE HINCHBROOK, ALASKA

Frontier Power has partnered with Silver Mountain Construction to provide electrical power to an extremely remote location off the coast of Alaska.  Gensets powered by KUBOTA engines were supplied and these were fitted with special alternators from STAMFORD. Specified were 10 STAMFORD 12KW SOL2-G1 alternators, together with 4 STAMFORD 24KW sol2-M1 units supplied by Cummins Inc.  The system is monitored remotely and hybrid unit has been installed to charge batteries for GPS equipment.
