CM has installed a high-performance backup power system in a major hospital in Rome. The power system in this unit has been designed to ensure maximum reliability even in the most critical situations. It comprises:

-2 generating sets of 1250 kVA each

-Baudouin Diesel Generator engine

-Mecc Alte alternator

-ComAp Group IG1000 + IV 5.2 control unit with Ethernet module

-Automatic fuel transfer system

-Oversized fuel tanks for extended autonomy

-Single synchronisation panel for integrated management of both units

- An advanced system, engineered to work in synergy to ensure continuity, safety, and uncompromised performance.

A spokesman for CGM Italia comments:

"Behind every project like this there is much more than a supply: there is engineering, planning, and the responsibility of guaranteeing power where it must never fail. Since 1980, CGM has embodied the passion and Italian brilliance in the design and production of power generators. Each genset manufactured at the Vicenza plant is not just a product but the result of a commitment to innovation and quality. Solutions are provided that not only power machinery but also initiate projects, passions, and dreams in various applications worldwide."

The current situation in Rome's city hospitals is described by some observers as 'dire', with an average of 1,100 patients+ waiting to be admitted at any single facility. This is a significant increase in the number of patients compared to previous years, often leading to a chaotic and overcrowded environment in A&E departments. Last month the Italian Society of Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care has reported this alarming situation, highlighting the urgent need for solutions to alleviate the hospital crisis. The installation of quality and reliable backup power generators is clearly a positive move in ensuring that citizens can expect the best possible medical attention.
