FAS Agro Industries in Sharada is a prominent player in the Nigerian market, specialising in the production of woven polypropylene packaging. The company, established in 1989, has grown to become a major provider of flexible woven polypropylene packaging in Nigeria.

The energy project at the Sharada plant has been handled by Green Power International. The site features five MWM gas generator sets, each rated at 2.3 MW. 11KV (5xTCG 3020 V20) delivering a total of 11.5 MW of highly efficient, cleaner, and reliable power. This milestone strengthens our commitment to sustainable, on-site energy that supports continuous industrial operations.
The TCG 3020 V20 gas engine stands out for its high efficiency, long service intervals, and compact design. It offers an output of 2,300 kWel and features an electrical efficiency of up to 45% for natural gas operation and 43.6% for biogas operation. The engine is designed for Industry 4.0 and supports the gradual switch to more climate-friendly fuels. It can operate with a hydrogen admixture of up to 25 vol% and is equipped with the TPEM (Total Plant & Energy Management) digital control system for efficient monitoring and control of the entire system. The TCG 3020 V20 is a modern, sustainable solution for energy projects, offering flexibility and reliability for various applications.
