UCBIR JENERATOR of Turkey has supplied two 2,000 kVA diesel generators fitted with Perkins engines and Leroy Somer alternators.

The Perkins 4016-61TRG1 engine is known for its reliability and efficiency, making it a popular choice in generator applications. The Perkins 4016-61TRG1 engine stands out for its turbocharged, air-to-water charge-cooled, 16-cylinder diesel engine design. It is manufactured in the UK and India, with a build list starting from DGPR. The engine's individual cylinder heads, each with 4 valves, optimise gas flow for improved combustion. With a total displacement of 61.123L, it delivers a power output of 2377 horsepower (1774 kWm) at 1500 RPM. The engine is available in Prime, Standby, and Continuous ratings, catering to various power generation needs worldwide.
