AUDI DIESEL has supplied 3 & 936 KVA generators (Doosan brand) to one of the National Water Company (NWC) stations, through a major contractor in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. A company spokesman comments:

Today NWC's comprehensive operational responsibilities include the operation and maintenance of over 100,000 kilometres of water transmission and distribution pipelines, pumping stations, storage reservoirs, and water quality monitoring systems that deliver potable water to millions of households, businesses, factories, schools, hospitals, mosques, government offices, and other customers across the Kingdom; the operation and maintenance of over 80,000 kilometers of sanitary sewer collection networks, lift stations, and sewage transmission pipelines that convey wastewater from customer properties to treatment facilities.
NWC is also responsible for the operation and maintenance of over 200 wastewater treatment plants, ranging from small package plants serving individual communities to large regional plants treating hundreds of thousands of cubic meters per day, producing treated effluent that is safe for discharge or beneficial reuse in agricultural irrigation, landscaping, industrial cooling, and other non-potable applications, conserving precious freshwater resources, reducing the demand for desalinated water, lowering energy consumption, minimising environmental impact, and contributing to a circular water economy.
The company also handles the ongoing investment in infrastructure expansion, network rehabilitation, pressure management, leak detection and repair, asset management, and system optimisation programs which reduce water losses (which historically exceeded 30% in some Saudi Arabian cities) and improve operational efficiency, water quality, service reliability, and customer satisfaction, reports NWC.
