new 1,250 kVA standby diesel generator has been provided by Dagartech for the Rainha Green Logistics Park located in Azambuja, developed as a strategic site for both national and international companies. The installers have completed work on a 1,250 kVA genset designed to provide backup power in case of a network failure in the first finished building on the site. The main requirement of this project was to guarantee the operational availability of the installation, exceeding 24-hours of autonomy at 100% load in the event of failures in the electrical grid. The genset's control system provides flexible and complete monitoring of events and a comprehensive visualization of information related to the engine, thus facilitating maintenance work or fault detection, says Dagartech. The genset features a Cummins engine and STAMFORD alternator and has also been equipped with an engine heating system, to ensure a quick start, as well as an automatic transfer system.
The genset also incorporates an integrated fuel tank with a 500-litre capacity. The installation also has a 6,500 litre ‘mother’ fuel tank which, together with the 500 litre one, can guarantee that genset has 24-hours of operation.
