THREE 3,300 KVA DIESEL GENERATORS FOR HAMAD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, DOHA, QATAR

ASSER BIN KHALED HEAVY EQUIPMENT W.L.L. of Abu Hamour, Qatar, were responsible for installing and specifying three DS 3300 - 3300 kVA customised units onsite and powering them up for use at Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar. Home to Qatar Airways since 2014, the airport is named after the previous Emir of Qatar, Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. Hamad International Airport became the first Middle Eastern airport to be awarded the Skytrax's World Best Airport for 2021 in the 2021 World Airport Awards, ending the 7-year dominance of Singapore's Changi Airport. Qatar’s Hamad International Airport has now been named the World’s Best Airport for the second year running.
