Six SGT-800 Industrial gas turbines just bought by Rue Minskenergo of Belarus

iemens has secured an industrial gas turbines supply order from Belarus-based energy provider RUE Minskenergo for a new power plant. According to the contract, Siemens will be supplying six SGT-800 industrial gas turbines. They will be installed at a new gas power plant in the Minsk region. The commissioning of wind turbines at the site is scheduled for December 2021. Once commissioned, the gas turbines at the 300MW power plant are expected to improve the grid’s reliability. In addition to six gas turbines, the contract includes the supply of associated generators and the control system PCS 7.
