NEW GENSET DELIVERED TO A SOUTH AFRICAN FOOD FACTORY

eksan has provided three gensets for a site in South Africa: 1 x 1,650 kVA diesel generator with Mitsubishi engine and 2 x 750 kVA diesel generators with Doosan engines. A company spokesman commented on the contract:

" We were tasked to provide 3100kVA of Standby Power for a very old food production facility. Space to install big generators was non existent and the distance between mini subs was immense. The project spec was as follows: 2 x 750kVA Teksan™ Doosan Synchronized Generators, a 2500Amp Automatic Change Over, and we had the task of replacing Mains Cabling."
