eksan has supplied the Sri Lankan Army with a 500 kVA diesel generator fitted with a Baudouin engine and Nidec alternator. The contract represents another 500 KVA Prime Power TEKSAN Generator installed at the New Army Hospital in Kandy. This TEKSAN Generator is powered by a Baudouin Engine and a Leroy Somer/NIDEC Alternator. The power produced by the Teksan TJ550DW is controlled with the Deep Sea Electronics 7320 control module. The genset is widely regarded as being reliable and economical thanks to the robust Baudouin 6M16G715/5 engine. The Overhead Valve (OHV) 1500rpm engine produces 500 kVA / 400 kW of prime power effortlessly and has been designed to be quiet, rugged, and durable.
