orking in Lebanon's capital, the Ghaddar team has designed, manufactured and installed a 350 KVA Generator Turnkey project for World Food Program facilities in Beirut. It includes a 350 KVA Ghaddar Genset Powered by Cummins NTA855-G4 engine and Leroy Somer TAL046H Alternator, a Super Silent Soundproof Canopy, special features such as a Manual Transfer Switch, Cyclone Filter, a Concrete Base, a 2000litre Fuel Storage System, plus all necessary cabling and connections.
The NTA855-G4 is a 6 cylinder, 50 Hz, turbocharged engine which is currently manufactured in India. The engine has a total displacement of 14L, requires 36.8L of oil and 45L of coolant. The Cummins NT series are a range of proven engines which perform in some of the harshest conditions. The NTA855 engine can handle higher injection pressures and the engine also has low oil consumption, fuel efficiency durability and high power.
The engine has a total displacement of 14L, requires 36.8L of oil and 45L of coolant. All in all the engine produces 425 horsepower (317 kWm) at 1500 RPM.
The engine is available for use in diesel generators at Prime (PRP), Standby (ESP) and Continuous (COP) power ratings making the engine useful for many applications. The Cummins NTA855-G4 fuel consumption depends on its load. At 1500 rpm prime power it is has the following fuel consumption (percent of prime power):
At 25% it uses 21 litres/hr; At 50% it uses 39 litres/hr; At 75% it uses 57 litres/hr; At 100% it uses 76 litres/hr.
