OHLER Uninterruptible Power UK has been involved with the supply in August 2022 of a special-build KOHLER KD900 to Cossham Hospital. With an impressive 10,000 litre base tank, this KD900 was the ideal solution to overcoming the problem of limited space at the hospital, whilst not comprising on the running autonomy of the generator. Due to the complexity of the lift a 250-tonne crane was required - TGS worked closely with the hospital to ensure operations ran smoothly with limited disruption to staff and service users. Cossham Hospital is based in South Gloucestershire, on the eastern outskirts of Bristol near the M4 and M5 junction. The facility was established to serve South Gloucestershire and Bristol residents, and North Bristol NHS Trust runs a series of outpatient clinics and diagnostic test services such as x-rays, as well as maternity services, at this important site.
