LEES (Wuxi Lees Power Company Ltd) is a worldwide generator provider specialising in the manufacturing of a wide range of generator sets, from 8kVA to 4000kVA. The company offers customised solutions for various power supply needs, including high-voltage, paralleled, and super silent generators. It recently provided a 15MW diesel power plant for Maili in West Africa.
The power package consisted of:
• CUMMINS KTA50-G3 engines for robust, reliable power. The Cummins KTA50-G3 engine stands out for its Coolpac Integrated Design, which includes a complete cooling package and air cleaner kit, ensuring a robust and efficient power solution. Its dual Ni-resist, aluminium alloy pistons are specifically designed to compensate for thermal expansion, providing a precise fit at all normal operating temperatures. The engine's large capacity integral aftercoolers and one pump, two loop cooling system contribute to cooler, denser intake air for complete combustion and reduced engine stresses, leading to longer life and lower exhaust emissions. The engine's fuel efficiency is further enhanced by its PT fuel system, which ensures precise fuel delivery and optimized performance. Additionally, the KTA50-G3 engine is designed to operate at high ambient temperatures and altitude with derating options, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
• STAMFORD | AvK S7H1D-F4 11kV alternators for excellent electrical performance. The Stamford S7 alternator series has been designed to improve from the P7 series. The S7 includes a high efficiency air flow system which helps improve the thermal performance and power density of the unit. The S7 also has flexible feet which helps with ease of integration and product adaptation and makes use of a PMG system for excitation.
• DEIF AGC-4 Mk II controllers enabling advanced power distribution and precise load management. The DEIF AGC-4 Mk II controllers are advanced automatic genset controllers designed for comprehensive protection and control of generator sets. They are ideal for mission-critical applications such as hospitals and data centres, offering backup power in just six seconds. The controllers support up to 992 gensets and comply with Tier 4 Final/Stage V emission requirements. They also support various grid codes globally and offer plug-and-play compatibility with DEIF’s ASC-4 hybrid controller for easy integration into hybrid installations. The controllers feature an intuitive external touchscreen, remote communication, and backup power capabilities, making them suitable for various power management needs.
