ELEC Energy is the company behind four new power plants designed for grid injection to support the Greek national electricity supply.

The scheme involves the construction of four biomass power plants - each with a capacity of 6.2 MVA  - which will feature 10 BIOIL generators of 620 kVA each spread over the  different sites. The STAGE III generators are being synchronised to run 24/7 and 8100 hours per year and these are supported by 5 fuel tanks with a total capacity of 200 tons of fuel installed on each site. Each building will be equipped with high-voltage 1250 kVA ABB transformer, reports the company.
