BEACHFRONT CONVENTION CENTRE IN GALVESTON, TEXAS, USA INSTALLS 1,600 KW GENSET

lue Star Power Systems has supplied 1,600 kW diesel generator with Mitsubishi engine and Stamford alternator to a beachfront convention centre in Galveston, Texas.  This MD1600-01 (1600kWe) will providing backup power to a beachfront resort/convention centre based on the Galveston coast. The unit is powered by a Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine America, Inc. engine which drives a Stamford Cummins Generator Technologies Alternator. The unit is housed in a Level-3 sound-attenuated aluminium enclosure and mounted on top of a UL 2085 7,700-gallon sub-base fuel tank.

This Standby/Prime 1600 kWe / 1450 kWe generator provides 208-600 Volts and 60 Hz / 1800 RPM.  Mitsubishi Turbocharger offers an extensive lineup of aftermarket products to support and service all its customers. Its aftermarket product line is split into two categories; replacement service parts and performance upgrade parts. Its replacement parts section includes complete turbochargers, centre housing rotating assembles, and actuators.
