taly-based Coelmo has supplied a PDT4008TAG2 diesel genset to Saudi Arabia to provide power to a saltwater reverse osmosis plant. The design, production, installation and commissioning of the EDG 1000 kVA (800kW) generating set, PRP rated at site conditions, 380V, 3-Phase+N, 60 Hz, 0.8 PF, was carried out by Coelmo. The genset package includes:
- a Perkins 4008-TAG2 diesel engine with mechanical radiator
- Mecc Alte ECO43-2M4A alternator
- Local control panel IP42 able for parallel operations
- Power Panel with motorized ACB 4p
- External fuel tank double wall in CS with level sensor (EN 12285) for 48 hours operation, painted according to C5-VH atmospheric corrosivity class
- Daily tank with leakage basin (double wall) in CS with level sensor (EN 12285) for 8 hours operation
- Transfer fuel pumps and interconnecting piping between EDG and external fuel tank (max. 15 meters)
- Soundproof enclosure IP55 in carbon steel painted according to C5-VH atmospheric corrosivity class
- Silencer in stainless steel
- Instrumentation and control system according to specifications
- Documentation, FAT acceptance test and iFAT
- Painting standard manufacturer (except for EDG Enclosure, External Fuel Tank and Generator)
- Internal Piping and cables and piping/cables between EDG and Fuel Tank
- External Fuel Tank 10800 lt
- Commissioning and start up.
